Arizona State volleyball has already begun work in the transfer portal following its historic season. This team was built on transfers and girls who believed in this program. JJ Van Niel went to work immediately.
Arizona State downed West Virginia outside hitter Billy Miller.
New warning for the Sun Devil! 😈
Transfer outside hitter Billy Miller will join the team in January! From Quinlan, Texas, she spent her first two seasons at West Virginia, where she played in every game 💪#ForksUp pic.twitter.com/iefV28CIfg

Miller was at West Virginia last year. After becoming a top-five Outside Hitter in Texas, this was her second year in the program. She was one of the best outside hitters in the Class of 2022.
As a Mountaineer, she was one of the best dual-threat players, meaning she could attack and defend. Within two years of the program, Miller ranked second in kills with a total of 662 kills. It was very good for a very bad West Virginia team. She had nearly 500 digs on the defensive line, which ranked second on the team through two years. It was great.
Now, she joins an Arizona State team that was in need of reinforcements after several of its best players graduated. Miller will try to replace Marta Levinska, who was one of the best players in ASU history. Can she help get ASU back to the Sweet 16 and perhaps beyond?
