The NSW Breakers lost by 60 runs in their second of two National Women’s Cricket League matches against Victoria this season.

Skipper, Sammy Joe Johnson, took three wickets, but the Victorian side rose to a competitive total of 7-284.

A spate of early dismissals put the Breakers in a difficult position, and despite resilient batting performances from Saskia Hurley (89) and Georgia Adams (70), their efforts to chase down the runs were in vain.
