BURGAW — East Bladen seniors Carly Ross and Molly Evans were named to the All-Waccamaw Conference volleyball team.
rus (Pictured above right) He made 28 digs for the Lady Eagles, dished out 29 assists and hit 3 aces. Evans (Pictured above left) He had a team-high 60 assists, fired 13 aces, 7 kills and had 7 digs.
David Marlowe of Waccamaw South champion Columbus was named Coach of the Year. The Lady Stallions’ Lauren Richardson was named Player of the Year. South Columbus also placed Carmen Buck, Emily Worley, Jordyn Turbeville, Jada McDowell and Rhea Lee to the all-league team.
Whiteville is represented by Charlie Hewitt, Serenity Harvey and Amy Williams in the Honor Band. East Columbus placed Malia Graham, Serenity Shuford and Destiny Mitchell on the all-conference team.
Other all-conference selections included: Trask – Chloe Barnhill, Sophie Williamson, Jalen Reece-Murray; Bender – Alina Butt and Grace Bordeaux; West Columbus – Kennedy Scott and Jaylen Franklin.
