There will literally be fireworks when the KFC T20I comes to Dafabet St George’s Park on Tuesday, December 12, when the Proteas take on India as part of the Freedom Series tour.

“When two of the world’s best T20 teams go head-to-head at the iconic Dafabet St Georges Stadium, the birthplace of international cricket in South Africa, we are bound to see exciting cricket,” says Dr Mark Williams of Mega Sportz NPC, the stadium management company.

Fireworks will be set up to mark the boundaries, and a band will add to the atmosphere.

Fans should get to see local heroes Dafabet Warriors captain Matthew Bretzke and players Marko Janssen and Tristan Stubbs in action against the Indian team during this tour.

“The match kicks off at 5, which will give those who are working a chance to be part of the action, and the ticket office will be open this weekend from 9am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are selling really well and we advise those who have not yet purchased tickets not to Miss the opportunity.

A reminder to all fans to check the Ticketpros website for a list of prohibited and prohibited items. Traffic flow will be one-way around the stadium.

Fans can also purchase tickets for the international match, which will take place on Tuesday 19 December.
