Continuing the trend set by Jen Greeny and Argentina Ung, Logann Golden is the second WSU volleyball player to Announce Her expected departure from the team is prior to the 2024 season. The senior defensive specialist and libero leaves Pullman after four seasons of playing as a depth player and a 2022 CSC Academic All-District player.

Golden played 32 sets over 20 matches in 2023. Over her four seasons, she contested 113 sets over 57 matches, finishing with 16 aces and 75 digs.

Hailing from Castle Rock, Washington, Golden was a four-time All-League First Team player in high school volleyball. With Greaney gone, Golden is looking for a new opportunity to prove herself in her final season of eligibility.

Playing behind so much talent, Golden has proven to be a good teammate who can come off the bench when players above her are injured or need a deep break in sets.

Over the past four seasons, she has sat behind FIVB draft pick Carly Basham, multi-year starter Julia Norvell and Aria Macomber.

With one season of eligibility remaining, Golden has potential that WSU’s recruiters saw but couldn’t find consistent use for over the past four seasons, so it’s likely he’ll have to move her to a sideline program or worse.
