Kubiak, the younger sister of former Nebraska All-American Maddie Kubiak, played in nine games for the Huskers this season, including a short stint in NU’s national championship game against Texas on Sunday.
Kubiak, who has two years of eligibility remaining, has three kills this season on 15 swings. She added six digs.
As a freshman, Kubiak played in four matches and had seven kills on 22 swings. She added seven holes and a block. Kubiak was the No. 18 recruit in the class of 2022.
Jurevicius, the No. 17 overall recruit in Nebraska’s top-rated 2023 recruiting class, redshirted this season, so the 6-foot-2 Cleveland native still has all four years of eligibility remaining.

A roster crunch at Nebraska was inevitable, as the Huskers had no seniors departing and two freshmen.
The two freshmen are Skylar Pierce, a 6-foot-2 outside hitter from Lenexa, Kan., who is ranked as the No. 4 player in the class of 2024; and Olivia Mauch, a local prospect from Bennington who was ranked as the No. 2 defensive specialist in this year’s class.
Both Pierce and Moch plan to graduate early from high school and enroll at Nebraska in January, having taken the same lead from last year’s recruiting class.
