England pacer Adil Rashid ends the year as the world's best bowler in T20 cricket

Rashid, who became the first Englishman to reach 100 wickets in this format during the ongoing series in the West Indies, moves up two places to leapfrog teammates Rashid Khan and Ravi Bishnoi at the top.

The 35-year-old took seven wickets in his first four matches in the Caribbean, taking his career tally to 105. Sam Curran, who is ranked 13th, is the second-highest England bowler on the list.

Phil Salt – fresh off the back-to-back centuries for the Windies – has risen to 20th in the batting list, while captain Jos Buttler remains at number eight.

In ODI cricket, England’s difficult World Cup campaign has left the team with only one player in the top 10 in the batting, bowling and all-round rankings.

Dawid Malan, who fell despite being the top scorer for the ousted champion in India, is ranked ninth.

Joe Root maintains second place among Test batsmen, sitting behind New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and ahead of Australia’s Steve Smith.
