Hideo Suzuki signs with Farm Fresh Foxies in the PVL

MANILA, Philippines – Farm Fresh Foxes has appointed Hideo Suzuki, head coach of Kurashiki Plays, as the team’s advisor for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season, the league announced.

Suzuki, who led the Ablaze to a championship in the PVL Invitational Conference, will have a pivotal role at Farm Fresh.

“We are thrilled to have coach Hideo Suzuki join Farm Fresh as a team advisor. His proven track record and coaching are assets that will undoubtedly elevate the team’s performance,” Chiara Cruz, Farm Fresh Team Manager, said in a statement.

“We look forward to a season of growth and success under his leadership,” he added.

Suzuki will work closely with team coach Jerry Yee in the 2024 season.

The Foxies finished 10th in the recently concluded All-Filipino Conference with a 2-9 record.

“Coach Suzuki, known for his strategic brilliance and successful coaching career, will not only be instrumental in the development of Farm Fresh players, but will also expand his experience to elevate the performance of teams under the umbrella of strong collegiate athletics, particularly in the collegiate ranks,” the statement read.

Suzuki and Ablaze, at the Mid-Season Invitational, took home the championship over the Creamline Cool Smashers.
