Half a dozen gymnasts from Forres took home medals from the Scottish Floor and Vault Championships in Edinburgh.
Iris Whitton, Lucy Stevenson, Mia Morrison, Matilda Gee, Charlotte Morrison and Louisa Walters medaled in the event, which saw 550 competitors.
Iris won bronze on floor, silver on vault and silver all-around in the 14+ division. Lucy won bronze on vault (12-13); Mia won gold on vault (11); Matilda (missing from photo) won bronze on floor; Charlotte placed fourth on vault and Luisa took team bronze in an average of 11 years with Mia and Matilda.
The girls’ achievements were made all the more impressive by the turbulent nature of the preparations – the club was moved from the hall at Forres Academy due to problems with the concrete.
Coach Patsy Fraser-McKenzie said: “We were thrilled to achieve such good results after a difficult couple of months.
“The club was left homeless and we had to vacate our usual premises at Forres Academy when aerated concrete was discovered there.
“We were delighted to be able to rent Dyke Village Hall for a few weeks, and although it was too small for our training, we had a great welcome there.
“Training has been fragmented and challenging, so achieving victories at national level has been very rewarding.”
Forres Gymnastics Club is set to temporarily move to Elgin in January to the Moray Sports Centre.
