19-year-old England pacer Rehan Ahmed has withdrawn from the IPL 2024 auction, a day before the players went under the hammer in Dubai.
The 19-year-old Rahane has played 45 T20 matches, taking 46 wickets at an economy rate of 7.82. In his List A career, Ahmed has taken 15 wickets in 13 contests.
Apart from him, Taskin Ahmed and Mohammad Shariful Islam of Bangladesh also withdrew their names from the auction.
Shoriful became a regular player in white-ball cricket. The left-arm pacer has taken 97 wickets in 85 T20 matches. In his List A career, the 22-year-old has thrown out 103 batters in 66 games. He could have been on the radar of many franchises but withdrew from the process.
Taskin is a big name, famous for his speed bowling. He has collected 158 wickets in 137 T20 matches. On the other hand, he has 171 scalps in 118 List A contests.
