It was a dream come true moment for the Tokyo Olympics silver medalist. But with Christmas upon us, she has now opted for an alternative style, defying the conventions, sensibilities and traditional constraints of modern fashion.

US Olympians were dazzling with their Christmas looks, and so was Jordan Chiles. Although she didn’t choose to wear a sporty dress, Chiles did wear a medieval-style outfit to up her winter game.

Chiles took to Instagram to post a series of Christmas Eve photos that challenge modern grace and enthusiasm. “Christmas Eve in the Renaissance style“, Chiliz commented on her post on Christmas Eve and looked flawless while doing so. The 22-year-old chose to go medieval, Renaissance style, wearing a silvery white wedding dress. Her arms were covered up to the elbows as well while similar silver-white heels shone on her feet.

It wasn’t a Christmas dress, it was a dress for Christmas Eve celebrations. Earlier this year, in June, Chiles became a Nike athlete. True to her promise, she posted photos in Nike apparel later on Christmas. Chiles was wearing a Nike jacket, socks and leggings, which prompted her to caption the post, Happy birthday Nike. A white Christmas tree stood in the background while several presents stood on its left side. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Chiles dreamed of becoming a Nike athlete.

Given her athletic prowess and mysterious, esoteric sense of style, billion-dollar apparel brand Nike has taken Jordan Chiles under its wing as an athlete, marking a dream come true moment for the 22-year-old. Chiles’ mother expressed her happiness, saying: “When I tell you that I am proud of this girl…!! She continues to strive for her goals, and today she is officially a @Nike athlete. When she was 10, she said she wanted this…and here she is.“.
Chiles has certainly worked to achieve this dream since his childhood, and he well deserves this award.
