In its endeavor to provide a platform to around 90 talented cricketers across the state to showcase their talent in a live-streamed event, Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) has partnered with TCM Sports Management Pvt. Ltd. (TCM) as commercial partners for the inaugural edition of the GSA T20 Champions Cup.
There will be a total of 6 teams playing 18 matches over 10 days. All the matches will be played at the Amingaon Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The tournament will start from December 25, 2023. The six teams will be: Gauhati Town Club, Bud Cricket Club, New Star Club, City Cricket Club, Ankur Jyoti Club and Riverine Club.

TCM will be responsible for all commercial rights related to the desired event. The sports marketing company has the exclusive ground rights to several cricket stadiums in India and globally. Outside India, TCM has naming rights, sponsorship and exclusive stadium rights across the New Zealand Cricket, Cricket West Indies and Asia Cup (Asian Cricket Council) tournaments.
The tournament will be officially inaugurated by Naba Kunwar, former Ranji Trophy cricketer, Assam and Chairman of the Senior Selection Committee, Assam Cricket Association tomorrow at 8.00 am.
