University Park, Pennsylvania – Penn State men’s gymnast Josh Karnes He was named parallel bars champion at the 2nd Annual Collegiate Gymnastics Association (CGA) All-Star Games on December 16. The youngster was also named the best player of the match for his performance.
The All-Star Games begin in 2022, with the nation’s top collegiate gymnastics teams competing against each other divided into two divisions, East and West. All-Stars selected in 2023 NCAA Tournament results.
Gymnasts pre-record their routines and are judged on a 10-point system by judges in the virtual event.
Carnes earned a score of 9.675 to win the parallel bars title.
Michael Jarrow He earned a 9.575 in pommel horse followed by his teammate Ethan Dick which also received a 9.575.
Matt Underhill He received a score of 9.675 on the fixed rings.
East won for the second year in a row with a score of 228.725.
