North Valley Gymnastics continues to move houses, but has finally returned to Vernon.

The club lost its own home two years ago due to a fire.

Since then, gymnasts have been traveling to Whiteville to train at the old elementary school.

It has now found a brand new space in The Vaults, at 3101 45th Ave., in Vernon.

The team is expected to move in mid-December and begin programming on Jan. 8, so coaches, parents and athletes are excited about the new space.

“I’m excited for the foam pit and to be in Vernon,” said Gabby Friesen, competitive gymnast.

The ten coaches and the office manager are thrilled to be back in Vernon, where they also welcome a new head coach.

“Our club is run by a volunteer board of directors who work hard to get us back to Vernon,” head coach Nicole Plesiuk said.

“Whiteville and Lumby have been wonderful hosts during our time at Whiteville School and we know some of these families will be sad to see us leave.”
