Simone Biles woke up Monday morning and chose to shock the gymnastics world with not just one eight New training videos. among them? The full Yurchenko, the return of Amanar, the triple-double, and much more.

Disclaimer: The 27-time Olympic and world champion is wearing different outfits in these videos, so it’s safe to assume they’re not from the same day. But Biles He is She wears a Green Bay Packers hoodie in one (an ode to her husband, Jonathan Owens), so it’s safe to assume some of it, if not all of it, is modern.

Biles started her sawing round with a light (for her) double double twist and double back, and received an impressive spike in skill.

She steps it up a bit in the second clip, with Amanar – Yurchenko 2.5 – returning and a “!!!!” Simple. Caption. Biles has not competed in Amanar since 2021, when she stumbled on vault during the team final at the Tokyo Olympics.

Until recently, the 26-year-old was focused on naming her double Yurchenko spear (same as Amanar, can’t compete with both) after herself. And since she achieved that feat at the World Championships this fall, can she bring back Amanar? The YDP, as it is often referred to, is very difficult, and Biles was upfront about it being a challenge, even if she made it look easy. Or could Biles 3 be on the horizon?

That’s right, after Amanar Biles posted the craziest/impressive/incredible clip of the series when she shared herself doing a full-twisting double back of Yurchenko — aka Full-in, because she did the full twist to begin with.

Moving to bars, Biles executed a hard jam on her “weakest event” (read: no weak events) while teammate and bar specialist Zoe Miller appeared to laugh. She captioned it “if only” and tagged Miller.

The next skill was an ode to German beam queen Pauline Schäfer, who is credited with creating the Sumi 1/2 side, also known as Schäfer.

“I finally figured it out,” Biles commented on the skill she performed on a soft mat. “This was something that was very difficult for my mind to comprehend.”

What didn’t seem too difficult for Biles was to return the triple double, which she executed with her trademark quick turn. The Biles II have also not been seen in competition since 2021.

More bar perfecting was afoot in the penultimate stanza, with Biles previewing Maloney to Shang who missed by mere fingertips.

Between that connection, the full Yurchenko, Jam, and Schaefer, Biles has effectively captured a lot of potential new skills she can incorporate into her routine in 2024.

The last skill was also old but good – Biles 1 in the vault! Before YDP, there was OG Biles, also known as Yurchenko 1/2 on, in which she competed in 2018 and captured the world title that year.

Overall, it’s safe to say that Simone Biles gave her fans the best Christmas present – as they were able to watch in awe and… She dreams of what she will achieve in the next Olympic year.
