Zakka Ashraf made shocking statements about the Pakistani team in front of his family members. Zakka leaked information that was supposed to be confidential to his daughter and others.
In a video circulating on social media, Zakka could get heated, saying Mohamed Redouane has not been given the white-ball captaincy because he is under the control of Talha Othmani, who has signed eight national players.
Zakka’s daughter accused Shahid Afridi of controlling Shaheen Afridi, but the Pakistan Cricket Board president disagreed.
Zakka also said that he urged Babar Azam to continue captaining the team in red-ball cricket after the World Cup debacle, but he kept him waiting and finally resigned from all formats.
“Babar told me that he would tell me after talking to his family but he went to his manager Talha Usmani, who asked him to leave the captaincy in all formats. He told his relatives: ‘If Babar resigns, I am already ready for plan B.’
Ashraf Babar was also accused of taking Hassan Ali to the World Cup because of friendship. But his daughter reminded him that Hassan had replaced the injured Naseem Shah.
