Olympic gymnast Simone Biles had to take the future of her relationship into her own hands – finding and courting the man she would eventually marry, Media Take Out has learned.
Jonathan Owens, the footballer and husband of the gold medalist, was interviewed on the Pivot Podcast and told the story of how he and Simon met.
The story seems a bit unconventional. But this may be the way we need the Bioss Girls to get good men in these times.
Jonathan explained that the two met on a dating app and that it was Simon who messaged him first.
The footballer says Simon “dragged him” and that men like him are always the catch. Jonathan says Simon “boxed” him and “fighted” him because he was afraid to commit the crime.
But Simone was persistent, Media Take Out has learned, and shot her “If she hadn’t taken the photo,” it wouldn’t have happened.
Jonathan claims he knew nothing about gymnastics and that he didn’t realize how popular it was until they were there and people learned about it.
The podcasters then started talking trash and gaslighting Jonathan by saying that Simone was lucky she took the risk of messaging him first.
Simone J seemed to feel a little disrespected – she chimed in and said that she likes what she likes, and in a few years no one will call her Simone Biles’ husband, they’ll call her Jonathan Owens’ wife.
