Mangaluru, December 11: The Angelor Unit of the Mangalore Pradesh Catholic Sabha (right) in collaboration with the parish interfaith committee organized an interfaith volleyball tournament for men and women’s shot put on December 10.
The tournament was held on the grounds of Capitaño School. Thirteen volleyball teams and ten throwing teams from the city deanery and the episcopal city of Mangalore diocese participated in the tournament.
During the ceremony, two prominent sports figures from the parish were congratulated, Pradeep D’Souza and Raymond D’Souza of the famous Mr. World.
The volleyball trophy was lifted by Bondel A team while the runner-up was Bondel B team. Bondel team lifted the shot put trophy and Vamanjoor was the runner-up.
