Sophie Agee will join the Alabama volleyball team in 2024

Tuscaloosa, Ala. – After two seasons at Mississippi State, rising junior hitter Sophie Agee will continue her volleyball career at Alabama where she is scheduled to join the Crimson Tide in 2024.

The Houston, Texas, native appeared in 38 games over her two years at Mississippi State, including 25 as a sophomore with the Bulldogs. In 2023, she led the team in digs (25), was second in kills (250) and third in digs (171). Had 12 matches with double-digit kills, including three double-doubles, and a career-best 21 kills against Western Michigan (Sept. 8).

Agee marks the seventh newcomer so far for next year’s Crimson Tide team, joining the six freshmen from the fall’s signing class: Lindsey Brown, Ashby Daniel, Addison Engel, Hannah Parent, Ellery Rees and Leilia Toailoa.
