Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesoori attended the 27th Annual Fathers’ Day celebrations at Sanghar Cadet College as chief guest. The ceremony was attended by Commodore Muhammad Salim Hilal, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Brigadier General Zeeshan Ali, members of the Board of Governors, army officers, district government officers, dignitaries and parents of students. The student contingent presented a guard of honor to the Governor of Sindh.
The students also performed parade, PT display, gymnastics, tiger squad drills, tent roping, and horse show during the ceremony. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of Cadet College Sanghar to achieve excellent results in the Education Board and appreciated the college management for providing excellent training facilities to the students.
He also appreciated the role of Pakistan Navy in providing quality education in Pakistan, especially in the coastal belt and remote areas of Sindh. The student Muhammad Kabir (senior) and the student Muhammad Hudhayfah (junior) received the Best Player of the Year award, while the two students Muhammad Kabir (senior) and the student Muhammad Hudhayfah (junior) received the Medal of Honor. Jam Sadiq Ali Division won the Champions Trophy.
The Governor also congratulated former student Jawad Lark, former student Major Muhammad Asif Khattak, and former student Lt. Muhammad Shuaib for receiving the “Best Graduate Award” from Sanghar Cadet College.
The Sindh Governor also inaugurated the newly constructed Mehran Student Hall with financial assistance from the Sindh Government, which has a capacity of 1,000 students and is equipped with all facilities.
On this occasion, the Governor of Sindh also planted a sapling as a memorial and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Sanghar Cadet College for timely completion of the project.
